Craig Anderson won't be at the NHL's all-star weekend at Scotiabank Place, but he sure played like a star on Broadway Thursday night.

After a tough start to the season, the Senators goalie served notice he's rounding into form at just the right time by making 34 saves in a 3-0 victory over the first-place New York Rangers.

Making his 40th appearance this season, Anderson recorded the 17th shutout of his career and the Senators' first of the season. Jason Spezza scored twice while Milan Michalek also beat Rangers all-star goalie Henrik Lundqvist.

It was the 300th road win in Senators franchise history.
