"For Bobby Ryan, last night was a homecoming.Ryan grew up in Cherry Hill and was a Flyers season-ticket holder before moving to California when he was 11. He has dreamed of playing at the Wachovia Center.Last night, he got his wish.Now an emerging winger with the Anaheim Ducks, Ryan played in Philadelphia for the first time in a career that began last season, when he scored 31 goals and was second in rookie-of-the-year voting."It's been a long time to come home and play here before a lot of my friends and my family," said Ryan, 22, who estimated he had close to 150 friends and relatives at the game.Also returning last night: Anaheim right winger Joffrey Lupul and defenseman Luca Sbisa, two players involved in the Chris Pronger trade.Lupul and Sbisa went out with several of their former teammates Friday."It'll be tough to play against a lot of those guys, but it's also something I'm looking forward to," Lupul said before the game. "We push each other."Lupul used to live in Center City and was popular with his teammates."
