Texas A&M junior guard Admon Gilder is expected to miss at least two weeks with a knee injury, according to a person with knowledge of the situation.

The 9-1 Aggies, who moved up one spot to No. 8 in the latest Associated Press poll on Monday, next host Northern Kentucky on Tuesday night, before hosting Buffalo on Thursday night to round out their pre-conference schedule. A&M opens Southeastern Conference play on Dec. 30 at Alabama, meaning Gilder might miss at least the first couple of league games.

Gilder, a hardnosed defender, is third on the Aggies with 12.7 points per game in averaging 30 minutes per game.
