All's well that ends well for Gronkowski

"As Rob Gronkowski walked to his locker following yesterday's 23-20 win over the Baltimore Ravens, Patriots [team stats] owner Robert Kraft looked at the tight end and said, "I like the way you're walking."

His teammates and Patriots fans would tend to agree.

The 22-year-old gave everyone a scare after leaving yesterday's AFC Championship Game following what looked to be a gruesome ankle roll.

With 43 seconds remaining in the third quarter, Gronkowski reeled in a 23-yard Tom Brady [stats] pass. When he caught the ball, he immediately tried to dodge a tackle from Ravens safety Bernard Pollard — but instead Pollard fell on Gronkowski's right ankle, completely flattening it underneath him.

Gronkowski got up, limping badly, and was immediately taken to the locker room where he said he got his ankle retaped. The crowd at Gillette Stadium was on their feet when he returned during the same Patriots drive, and he was inserted back into the lineup nine snaps later.

When asked what happened, he replied with one word — "nothing.""
