With the bench finally showing signs of life, Al Harrington appears to be on track to returning to the Wizards, who play Saturday at the Boston Celtics (CSN, 1 p.m. ET), but he'll remain in Houston.

Harrington, who hasn't played since Nov. 12 because of discomfort in his right knee, had a arthroscopic procedure to clean out loose particles. That took place two weeks ago, and in another two weeks Harrington will be re-evaluated and the team will have a better idea on when he could return.

"Everything went fine. Everything is good," coach Randy Wittman said. "He's staying out there a couple days from a rehab standpoint with the doctor. After Christmas he'll be headed back here. He's pleased with what they told him the results were and he's just trying to work his way back."
