Al Harrington and Hedo Turkoglu chimed in about their uncertain futures with the Magic over Twitter on Friday after a reader asked a reporter — and them — when the team will resolve the players’ situations.

Harrington wrote: “I hope VERY SOON!!!!”

Turkoglu wrote: “I will be really happy if they can do it as soon as possible.”

Harrington and Turkoglu don’t expect the Magic to keep them.

If the team cuts Turkoglu now, the team would be obligated to pay him just $6 million of his $12 million salary for the upcoming season, which is the final year of Turkoglu's deal.

If the team cuts Harrington now, it would be obligated to pay him $3.57 million of his $7.15 million salary for the 2013-14 season and $3.8 million of his $7.6 million salary for the 2014-15 season.

The longer it takes to resolve Harrington's and Turkoglu's futures, the more difficult it may be for each of them to sign with another team with an open roster spot.
