News that Raptors wing Sonny Weems is close to a one-year deal to play in Europe broke over the weekend. Real Madrid is reportedly offering to make Mavericks guard Rudy Fernandez the highest-paid player in Spanish league history. And Rockets rookie Donatas Montiejunas is on his way to Italy.

Also, Thunder forward Serge Ibaka said he's thinking about going to Spain to play, and players like Jazz forward Andrei Kirilenko and Bulls forward Brian Scalabrine have made similar comments.

But, even as marquee names like Kobe Bryant and Dirk Nowitzki hinted during the season that they're open to going overseas, the NBA shouldn't be too concerned about an exodus of its stars, at least according to one agent, who said the market in Europe is not necessarily fruitful."
