"Rangers third baseman Adrian Beltre started his rehab assignment with the Round Rock Express Monday night, going 1-for-4 in his first game action in more than a month.

Beltre, who had been on the DL with a strained hamstring since July 23, flew out and singled in his first two at-bats before ending his night with a pair of swinging strikeouts. He was replaced in the eighth inning by Matt Kata."
