The former San Diego State running back hadn't been heard from since abruptly departing the combine for religious reasons.

As quickly as he disappeared, Adam Muema has surfaced. The former San Diego State running back turned back up on Friday, according to the San Diego Union-Tribune's Michael Gehlken, ending a bizarre weeklong absence on the heels of his abrupt exit from the NFL Combine for religious reasons.

On Friday morning, Muema strolled into the Florida performance facility where he trained for his trip to Indianapolis -- reportedly still donning the clothes he had on at the combine. His reappearance brought relief to those who hadn't heard from him in over four days and had begun to worry over his well-being.

"I know he's fine. I know he's safe," someone close to Muema told the Union-Tribune in anonymity. "But I don't know what happens from here. There are good people that are helping him."

There has been no indication as to where Muema has been or what he's been doing in his absence.
