"Adam Jones will be cleared to return to practice next Monday and will be eligible to play Dec. 7 at Pittsburgh, according to Dalllas Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones.
At an announcement for the 2014 Final Four in Arlington on Wednesday, Jerry Jones said the suspended cornerback could return to the team's facility later this week.
Jones said the league is expected to make the official announcement tonight or tomorrow.
NFL senior vice president of communications Greg Aiello said, via e-mail, "We have no comment at this time."
The NFL suspended Adam Jones indefinitely on Oct. 14 for violating the league's personal conduct policy after an alcohol-related incident with one of his bodyguards at the Joule Hotel on Oct. 7. Jerry Jones said he would not provide the player with a security detail upon his return."
