Former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez hasn’t watched his former team one time this season. It’s not that he’s forbidden to do so, rather inmates only get a set amount of television time per week and the schedule simply hasn’t fallen within a Patriots game.

The same will hold true for today’s AFC Championship game between the Patriots and the Denver Broncos.

We learned on Friday that Hernandez (and other inmates) would not be able to watch the game, though, he will be able to listen through his Walkman radio – if he so inclines.

Per Ian Rapoport:

Aaron Hernandez won’t be allowed to watch Patriots on TV from jail. But per Bristol County Sheriff, he can listen to radio on his walkman

Seriously – where did he get a walkman? Sony discontinued making those a few years ago, so I imagine those most go for some pretty hefty prices in prison. I wonder how he obtained one. Actually – as a matter of fact – no, no I don’t.
