"San Francisco safety Dashon Goldson told reporters Monday that he "kind of lost it" during the fourth-quarter run-in with Arizona wide receiver Early Doucet on Sunday.

Goldson, who was ejected from the 49ers' 23-7 win over the Cardinals, said he addressed the team after the game.

The incident occurred when Doucet, reacting to what he later called a "cheap shot" from Goldson in coverage, struck Goldson on the back of the helmet as the safety was getting up from the ground. Goldson then swung twice at Doucet's helmet, drawing a 15-yard penalty and the ejection.
