Thanks to two fumbled punt returns by Kyle Williams – one in the fourth quarter and the other in overtime – the Giants beat the Niners 20-17 in a rain-soaked NFC Championship Game on Sunday at Candlestick Park.

Subbing for the injured Ted Ginn Jr., Williams, who had six career punt returns entering the game, was stripped by New York's Jacquian Williams on a return just over five minutes into overtime. The Giants recovered at San Francisco's 24-yard line, and less than three minutes later, New York's Lawrence Tynes drilled a 31-yard field goal to send his team to its second Super Bowl in five seasons."
