Colorado Rockies third baseman Nolan Arenado suffered a contusion on his left hand when he was hit by a pitch in Sunday's game against the Marlins.

The Rockies reported that Arenado suffered a contusion on his hand, but X-rays were negative.

The All-Star third baseman took a fastball from right-hander Vance Worley on the edge of his hand in the fifth inning. After bounding away from the plate in obvious pain, Arenado left the game.
