The Buccaneers lost defensive end William Gholston in the third quarter of Sunday's 30-10 loss against the Saints after suffering a scary neck injury.

Gholston, 26, a fifth-year pro out of Michigan State, remained on the turf after suffering what originally appeared to be a non-contact injury. His teammates instantly looked upset, and Ghoston was eventually stretchered off the field.

Before leaving the game, Tampa Bay's entire bench walked onto the field to see Gholston leave. Several Saints also paid their resepcts, having just watched Bears tight end Zach Miller suffer a gruesome injury last week.
