The Yankees only have four more games to go in the regular season and they're absolutely tickled, in what was projected to be a rebuilding season the Bronx Bombers have exceeded expectations.


Which has left the team in somewhat of a celebratory mood heading into the postseason.


Following Starlin Castro’s sixth-inning home run in the Yankees’ 6-1 win over the Rays at Yankee Stadium, the second baseman conducted a fake press conference in the team’s dugout. Didi Gregorius, Luis Severino, Ronald Torreyes surrounded Castro at the end of the bench and pretended to ask him questions as he answered them, looking his teammates in the eye with a straight face.



You can see them having a blast with the gag, even bringing in props like cups and bottles as microphones and a snack tray as a camera.


Castro commented on the fake interview during his real post game interview:
