With their 14th round pick (388th overall) in last weeks MLB draft, the Yankees selected Sean Carley. A right handed pitcher out of West Virginia. I don’t think people generally care much about late round picks, but then this happened.
A doppelgänger of Kenny Powers - a fictional pitcher played by Danny McBride on HBO’s hilarious ‘Eastbound & Down.’
Sadly, because he is now a Yankee and will have to do some manscaping. I really hope Carley reacted to being drafted in Kenny Powers fashion.
