Back in the middle of May I blogged about Part 1 of Samsung's sci-fi epic "Galaxy 11". I wasn't impressed as it all seemed jumbled, messy, and rushed. Part 2 was released this week and I have to admit that I was wrong.

I was blown away by the second video. It sucked me in to the point where I had to do a bit of research to find out when Part 3 will be released. The best answer that I could come up with is "in the coming weeks".

Here is the roster for the Galaxy 11 as they take on the alien "Hurakan" squad with the fate of Earth in the balance:

Manager – Franz Beckenbauser (Germany)

Team Members – Lionel Messi (Argentina; Captain),  Mario Gotze (Germany),   Oscar dos Santos (Brazil),  Wu Lei (China),   Stephan El Shaarawy (Italy),  Victor Moses (Nigeria), Radamel Falcao (Colombia),  Lee Chung-Yong (South Korea),  Iker Casillas (Spain), Wayne Rooney (England), Landon Donovan (United States), Aleksandr Kerzhakov (Russia) and Cristiano Ronaldo (Portugal)

Here is "The Match - Part 1" and their initial video release is at the bottom of this blog or you can click here to read my previous blog regarding the first video. Again...I was wrong.

Having the silky voice of Martin Tyler on play-by-play makes this so good.

The creators of the campaign are obviously drawing major influence from sci-fi classics of the past. I'm seeing Predator, Star Wars, Space Jam, and Tron as a quick analysis.

Here is the original "Training" video:
