Former NBA All-Star dunk champion Nate Robinson spent parts of 11 NBA seasons defying expectations and found a way to contribute to numerous teams in the best basketball league on the planet. Now after playing basketball in Israel for Hapoel Tel Aviv, Robinson is back in America and playing in the NBA D-League, hoping to make it back to the NBA.

This turns out to be really bad news for Raptors 905 7-3 center Edy Tavares.  When Tavares jumped out to trap Robinson along the sideline of a pick and roll. What happened next might be the best basketball highlight of the year - for everyone not named Edy Tavares.

The 5’9″ Nate Robinson dribbles his ENTIRE ADULT BODY through the legs of the seven footer to escape the trap.

This is some next level Harlem Globetrotters vs. Washington Generals madness. The only thing that could make this better is if Nate dunked on the Raptors 905 centre later in the game, which thankfully didn’t happen.

Unfortunately for Robinson, he finished the night with just three points on 1-of-6 shooting in 17 minutes. The Raptors 905 won 110-96. Tavares focused on protecting the rim, not his five-hole, and swatted four blocks.

One more time…
