The BIG3, the professional 3-on-3 basketball league for has beens and careers gone wrong that Ice Cube founded as an excuse to hang out with former athletes was in Los Angeles over the weekend.
And for some reason, the center of the basketball landscape in Los Angeles these days is Big Baller Brand. So after months of talking up his game, the BIG3 invited diarrhea mouth himself LaVar Ball to a shootout with commissioner Ice Cube. More specifically a shootout from the BIG3’s four-point circle.
Back in May, Cube challenged Ball to a 4-point shooting contest and proposed donating 10 pairs of the $495 ZO2 sneakers to the Big Ballers basketball team if LaVar Ball made more shots than him. Ball, who averaged 2.2 points per game in his only NCAA Division-I season at Washington State accepted the invitation last week.

The two participated in a 90-second shootout from the four-point circle and it was one of the worst displays of shooting the Staples center has ever seen.

The best part comes about 30 seconds in when they each threw up shots at the same time, and even though it's clearly Cube's ball that goes in, LaVar throws his hands up in celebration and tries to take credit.
Considering everything we’ve heard from Ball in the past about his basketball talents and willingness to take out icons of the game in 1-on-1 competition, this sample of his current talent level would suggest he's lying.
