Not the best week for Larry Bird, the notoriously competitive NBA legend saw his team get swept by the Cleveland Cavaliers and blow a 26-point lead at home in Game 3. Not to mention it is becoming pretty clear that Paul George is looking to make a move, likely to the Lakers. On the upside for Larry, he got to drive an IndyCar Monday afternoon down Fifth Avenue in midtown Manhattan.
Apparently the Indiana Pacers want to host the NBA All-Star game in 2021 and Larry Legend delivered the offer to the NBA headquarters via an IndyCar, painted Pacers blue and yellow complete with logos. It also read the No. 21 for the year the Pacers want to have the event.

Bird drove four blocks down Fifth Avenue in this customized car Monday, somehow fitting his 6-foot-9 frame into a car usually driven by much shorter people.
