Kevin Love, like most professional athletes, was a dominant force in high school. In 2007 he was named Gatorade Male Athlete of the Year, first-team All-American, and the all-time leading scorer in Oregon high school boys’ basketball history with 2,628 points.

The thing with Love is that he didn’t exactly look the part. He was a little on the chubby side for an elite high school athlete that would go on to be a first-round draft pick and, four-time All-Star, Olympic Gold Medalist, and NBA champion.

Now 29-years old he still catching hell for his baby fat ways in high school. The Cavaliers were together for a charity event and were taking shots at his doughy figure. The ESPN Body Issue and Banana Republic model wasn’t having it and dropped the mic on his teammates.

Whatever Love’s high school struggles were, he got things figured out now and I suspect his supermodel girlfriend Kate Bock would agree with me.
